Hi!

My name is Lili and I wanted to share a few things that are important to me in my life.  I have a commitment to my Ukrainian heritage, being active and healthy and helping others. I hope you'll enjoy the video clips and getting to know me better.  Thank you!

Eagle Scout - Plast Scouting

  • I joined Plast Ukrainian Scouts at age 4. Attended twelve summer scout camps and three ski camps

  • Selected for and completed  two highly competitive leadership camps in the US and Canada with exemplary performance

  • Completed counselor training with highest marks, three years of troop leadership and two years as camp counselor and four as branch secretary

  • Eagle Scout earned in 2021 with completion of nine projects and satisfying all other requirements

Graduate - Music Institute

  • I began piano lessons at age 5

  • Seven years of  "Excellent" annual exam ratings earned from the NJ Music Educators Association  

  • Solo Ten Year Diploma Concert performed in 2020  

  • Graduating with Highest Honors from the Ukrainian Music Institute of America

Soloist - Iskra Dance Academy

  • I enrolled in Iskra Dance Academy at age 5

  • Advanced to highest level of Ukrainian dance training by 8th grade

  • Weekly rehearsals and multiple annual performances at various venues including Lincoln Center 

  • Six years of Ukrainian Dance Summer camp

  • Graduated with Highest Honors from 14 years of Ukrainian School ( May 2022)

  • Highest Honors earned on Matura (finishing oral and written exams across all subjects)

  • Elected Class Secretary at end of Freshman year

  • Serving three consecutive terms

  • Responsible for school spirit weeks and class fundraising events 

  • Key Class Coordinator of Annual Battle of the Classes Competition

Community Service
 

  • Raised over $2K for Millburn Short Hills First Aid Squad by collecting 5 tons of donated clothing during the pandemic

  • Created marketing video for the Ukrainian American Cultural Center in Whippany, NJ to help promote the various activities and services available to community members

  • Led  2019 Christmas Caroling campaign which collected $14K in donations

  • Personally responsible for raising $800 as part of Senior Celebration

  • Senior Ambassador to incoming freshman students
